It’s the kind of place where breakfast isn’t rushed, and lunch spills comfortably into the afternoon. Whether you settle into a cozy booth or a table with a view of the small parking lot outside, the restaurant’s charm comes from its ability to feel both unassuming and inviting.

Food here serves as a kind of reassurance—classic American fare made with care, never flashy but always satisfying. You might find yourself drawn to hearty breakfast staples like flaky omelettes and golden hash browns, or lingering over a stack of pancakes with warm syrup that lingers on the tongue. This restaurant offers a satisfying dining experience with a diverse menu and attentive service. While it may not boast extravagant decor, the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere make it a solid choice for those seeking a pleasant meal. The menu features a variety of dishes prepared with care, and the staff's friendly demeanor adds to the overall positive dining experience. It's a good option for a satisfying meal.

What a wonderful little slice of Americana diner in the middle of nowhere. My wife and I stopped by here after we got too tired on our road trip (and stayed at the comfort inn and suites nextdoor). The service was top notch here. Our coffee cups and water glasses were never more than half empty. Great banter with the waitress. My wife had the biscuits and gravy omelette, and I had the texas skillet. Absolutely incredible, 10/10 recommend. Especially the biscuits and gravy omelette, that was divine. Highly recommend his little spot if you are driving through and are hungry.

Great place to eat, our waitress knew when to check on us and when to let us enjoy the atmosphere. She was great. If your in the area and hungry, they will not disappoint. Highly recommend this for family.

Plenty of parking. Greeted upon entry. Choice of booth/table. Variety of choices in menu. Breakfast served all day. Stopped by for a late lunch. First time here. Breakfast you have to order meat extra. Got 1 egg scrambled with cheese. Eggs fluffy and there was plenty of cheese. Delicious. Pancake instead of toast. It was huge. Tasted great. Syrup was warm. Bacon was not over cooked. American fries could have been cooked a little more. I prefer mine crunchy.

Very clean and friendly restaurant. The staff greeted me with friendly smiles as soon as I walked inside. Every staff member was kind, from the young man at the door, the wait staff, and back to the cooks in the kitchen. I watch them all as I sat at the bartop ordering my dinner to go, that is how I know. Being kind to your customers goes a long way!! Thank you Skylar for your kindness and waiting on me, as you provided everything I asked you for with a smile. I sent my Husband back to Deerfield the next night for us another to go meal and he received the same kindness. We enjoyed our meals..

Visiting Silvis and Moline, IL for Train Days. Took the opportunity to dine at the Deerfield Restaurant. Two breakfast meals were ordered (one on Thursday, 4/24 and one on Saturday, 4/26). The first dish was the cheese omelette with gravy and hash browns. The second dish was the full (two biscuits) biscuits and gravy. Both were tremendous!! Saturday was the busier day so it's understandable if one has to wait (as I did). Both the older lady servers were excellent. The one who waits longest gets the reward in the end, no?? Five stars to them!!!!!

They serve breakfast all day & are open till 9. Most breakfast places close 2-3 PM. The eggs are good size, a lot of the others serve puny eggs. The picture shows a double order of corn beef hash & 4 eggs which was good. The potatoes aren’t that good. Obviously frozen & lacking flavor. A decent modern family diner.

Nice family restaurant. Menu is a little large but has a bit of everything. Decently priced. Chicken melt was good but next time I’ll ask for onions on it. The soups are so good!
